Resident evil 3 remake dlc1/5/2023 " Chasing Jill" asks players to "Read a letter left behind by Jill." What letter? Players have yet to find any letter connected to Jill Valentine, the heroine of Resident Evil 3. Others believe, however, that this achievement could be related to as-yet released DLC that will connect the remakes together. This may have been a tease of the new remake's upcoming announcement. As for that story mode, giving players the chance to buy all the rewards is certainly enticing, but for anyone who hasn't actually played the game and unlocked them the original way, it's far less rewarding. We now know that Resident Evil 3 Remake is on the way, but could there be DLC in store for the remake of Resident Evil 2? According to PushSquare, a Steam achievement called "Chasing Jill" popped up for players randomly last month. It would've been especially clever to give Jill a Leon-RPD-inspired costume for the story mode. Ultimately, the costume pack is a great idea given the love for the Resident Evil 2 remake, but it's a shame that won't be coming to the main Resident Evil 3 story as well. Some - like classic model handguns or costumes - cost a bit less and could be bought after one story completion, but others like the launcher require a bit more playtime. Normally, players would have to grind through the main story to earn points that could then be used to purchase rewards, which could then be used in future play-throughs. There's currently no specific release date or pricing available for the DLC content, but past costume purchases would run players about $3. With that in mind, the unlockable feature for all the in-game rewards could cost somewhere near the double digits, considering the amount of weaponry and power-ups that would grant players. And while players won't get the same costumes to unlock for the single-player mode, those still running through the campaign can download an "All in-game Rewards Unlock" which will give you access to all the additional weapons and perks that can be applied to the main story - including an infinite rocket launcher for maximum destruction. The costumes will be Claire's red jacket and Leon's Raccoon PD uniform, which you can take a look at in the post below. Now to make jumping back into the mode a bit more enticing for players, the Resident Evil Twitter page announced that new DLC content is coming next month that will allow players to dress up their characters like Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2. And though plenty of DLC content and side stories are available for Resident Evil 2, developer Capcom is likely hoping players will get mileage out of its multiplayer option, Resistance. The remake of Resident Evil 3 came a little over a year after the acclaimed remake of Resident Evil 2, and while the game was praised for its visuals and zombie and Nemesis action, it was ultimately seen as a step down from its predecessor. This marks the latest costume pack to come to the game's multiplayer mode, and the first downloadable content for the story mode since the game's arrival in April, which was then limited to costumes for lead characters Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira. Resident Evil 3 is getting some fashionable new DLC content next month that will allow Resistance players to dress up their characters in costumes inspired by Resident Evil 2, while one for the campaign will make getting all the unlockables much, much easier.
